DetailsThis is an original textured acrylic painting made by me, Sierra Miller. This a simple and complex painting. This painting is deep blueish teal, with accents of aqua green and purple. Giving you a feel of the deep sea or a far away galaxy. This is on a 16" X 20" stretched canvas.
For this painting, I first started by, mixing phthalocyanine green and deep violet together with a little bit of light aqua green, to get that gorgeous deep blue teal color. With that, I covered the whole canvas. Next, I took that light aqua green color and dapped it on starting from the top left corner to about midway. And the same starting at the bottom right corner to midway. Creating sort of a stucco look. Then, I added a little bit of light purple and magenta. After that was done and dried. I mixed more phthalocyanine green and deep violet, with a tiny bit of light aqua green together. I added more violet than the other colors, so the deep teal would be even deeper. I used a medium brush, adding the color which I call deep sea, to the painting. Using quick medium strokes, covering the blank space. After that, I added tiny dots of deep violet.
The reason why I called this painting 'Wonder' is because of the alikeness of our ocean to space. Did you know that an estimated 95 percent of the world's ocean and about 99 percent of the ocean's floor is unexplored? That means we pretty much know about as much of the universe as we do about the ocean. It fascinates me so much. I've heard somewhere, that there's a theory that the deep ocean and space looks the same. Which makes you wonder. Since we don't know much about either, it could very well be a possibility. This painting is my take on that theory. At one look of it, you could see the ocean, with beautiful corals and ocean life swimming around. At another look, you can see a galaxy somewhere in deep space, coming together, with all the gasses, asteroids, planets, and what else floating and roaming around. It all makes you Wonder.

Custom and personalized orders
I usually can make custom orders, please ask first and make sure you add a note to the order so I can know. Also custom orders may take longer to process, but I try my best to get it all done as fast as I can.
Are the earrings heavy?
Most of my earrings are extremely lightweight and if not still don't pull down on the ear. They are all made from light materials like; paper, felt, light wood, or plastic.

If you want me to gift wrap any order, please make a note when you purchase. I'm more than happy to!
